Time to kick asses with that guy in the red suit! Yes, his logo is in the poster up.
Deadpool is an admirable superhero! More like a terminal one, to be exact! He swings by & never stops to be naughty, ribald, crude & wacky whenever he's paid to be on screen. He is fast & he kills! With both katanas & sharp, quick-witted dialogues! Having him or Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson around are roundclock delights.
The start-end credits are hilarious. Random subjects of conversations boom-boxes. The spoofs are nice & the brutal bullet time actions at the beginning are radioactive. Deadpool's costume & prosthetics are fantastic. Of them all, Colossus has the most perfect CGI!
Just when one thinks the screenplay is on steroids & it's better than better, things start to falter. The story gets thinner & thinner as it mushrooms. Wade quickly opting to agree on the oblivion-like agreement is abrupt & questionable. The mutating process could have been more gruesome & pragmatic. It's insufficient on purpose & operation clarity.
Logic threshold cracks when the protagonist blows up the conversion center. The entire brawl that follows is corny. Villain Francis / Ajax (Ed Skrein) can't be taken seriously, for he lacks dynamism, depth & development. Upon climbing to the climax, the film becomes an endless ramp that's neither funny nor stimulating.
"I only have 12 bullets, so you guys have to share."
