This is an endearing stop-motion animated adventure comedy that's fully self-aware of how silly it actually is & has knockabout fun with it. One redeeming quality to notice would be the film's animation.
The way the script ties in the little props & pop-culture references to the story is praiseworthy. At times chaotic, this no-brainer is entertaining & emotionally appending at parts.
